That's really a huge response to something I did and that maybe will never see the racks of a comic store (even if I still hope in publishing it one day). Eg: Made brighter as if from the flash or with sharp shadows.
The bomb went off above the dome so the sun (which I think is meant to be an analog for the bomb) does not work very well if you know the precise location for the bomb.

The historical references you’ve used are subtle yet they identify the exactly what this picture is – and where – such as the building – one of the few to survive the blast at Hiroshima…
This picture really does send shivers down my spine.

In the picture is Hiroshima getting the nuke dropped on it by the Enola Gay. That dome is the famous epicenter.
